fglrx software package provides Video driver for the AMD graphics accelerators, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fglrx
fglrx is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fglrx package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fglrx *
You will get with fglrx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
